1. Money

Okay, we know it's kind of rude to ask for money, but every dollar we receive enables us to find loving homes for greyhounds. TLC Greyhound Adoption is an all volunteer, tax-exempt, 501(c)3, non-profit organization. We have no paid staff and we receive no public funds. All donations go directly for the care, feeding, and adoption of greyhounds. Any amount donated, no matter how small, is very much appreciated. We are responsible for providing medical care, food, supplies (collar, leash, etc), and a crate for each dog in the Kansas Correctional Facilities Greyhound Project. This is an enormous expense only partially covered by adoption fees.

Gift certificates to places where we can buy food and other supplies are also very appreciated.

2. Supplies

Dog Biscuits (Milk Bone Type)

For the Adoption Kennel:

Paper Towels
Old Comforters
Towels -- old beach towels are especially handy

3. Long Distance Phone Cards

Because we do a lot of adoptions out of the local area, as well as make calls to the Correctional Facilities on a regular basis, we find long distance bills to be a big expense.

4. Donations or Gift Cards for Gasoline

We travel a lot of miles to and from the correctional facilities. And, we are happy to do it! But, we burn up a lot of gas, and this is another big expense we have. Donations to help defray this cost would be most appreciated!

Talk up greyhound adoption among your friends, acquaintances, coworkers and relatives! Let everyone around you know how wonderful greyhounds are! If you are a member of a civic organization such as Jaycees, Lions Club, Rotary, etc. and would like to have us speak to your group, please contact us! If your event is within a reasonable driving distance for us, we would be happy to make a presentation on greyhound adoption and the Kansas Correctional Facilities Greyhound Project.
